Did you know there are apps out there designed to help you with your anxiety and mental health?
Anxiety BC is still one of the most comprehensive websites we have found for information on anixety for adults, teens, and children. Sections include one for parents, one for new moms or expectant mothers, and one for youth and teens. Now they have a mobile app that you can take with you anywhere! Mindshift includes information about anxiety, a place to track goals, relaxation techniques and more!
Another app out of British Columbia called Booster Buddy has just been released by the Vancouver Island Health Authority. It is designed to help kids and youth cope with a range of mental health problems including depression, anxiety, and early-onset psychosis. The design incorporates a 'gaming' feel which appeals to teens and young adults.
Both apps are available free on the App Store and Google Play.
