Childhood Anxiety Videos

Fears in childhood are very normal.  It is a time of great growth and change.  Children are asked to learn new skills, and try new things almost every day while demonstrating 'good' behaviour.  This can leave some children feeling overwhelmed or they might have a fear bubbling inside that can get in the way of facing these challenges with confidence.

How can one tell if it is a normal fear or if it is something more?  What do these problems look like in a child? How can a caregiver help?

Below are links to the most common childhood anxiety problems.  To obtain a copy of the full length DVD including an overview of the disorders and practical tips on how to help, please contact the ADAM offices.
